Privacy Policy

Forge90 is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app touches and why.
No account, no servers
Forge90 does not require an account, does not have a backend server, and does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. All workout programs, exercise data, and calendars are bundled with the app itself.
Data stored on your device
Your workout history, program progress, preferences, and story/campaign progress are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or it is included in your device's iCloud/iTunes backup, which is managed entirely by Apple, not by Forge90.
Apple Health integration
If you choose to enable HealthKit access, Forge90 uses it for two purposes only:
Reading data
Forge90 reads your body mass from Apple Health to estimate calories burned during a workout.
Writing data
Forge90 writes your completed workouts to Apple Health so they appear in your activity history and contribute to your move/exercise rings.
You control this access through iOS Settings → Health, and can revoke it at any time. Forge90 never sends your health data anywhere outside of Apple's HealthKit store — there is no server for it to go to.
Website launch sign-up
This website (paulgovan.github.io/Forge90) offers an optional email sign-up so we can notify you when Forge90 launches. If you use it, your email address is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, solely to deliver that notification. This is separate from the app itself — Forge90 has no account system, no servers, and this sign-up form has no effect on anything described above.
What we don't do
- We don't collect or transmit personal data to any server.
- We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers.
- We don't share, sell, or rent any data to third parties, because we don't collect any in the first place.
Children's privacy
Forge90 is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from children, since it does not collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
